Astro, a sweet 8 month old male golden pup, was so gentle and kind. Surprising since Astro spent so much of his life at the vet’s. A couple of months ago, Astro got Parvo and his family told the vet to put him down. The vet believed they could save Astro and asked the owner to give the dog to them. They did and the vet nursed him back to health. Once he passed his health exam, the vet called us to find him a new home. A wonderful family was looking for their first family dog… and Astro was perfect. Astro has a new Mom and Dad and two girls to raise. In the meantime, he is teaching them how to play tennis ball and they are pretty good. He is also a good runner and loves his backyard. Happy and Healthy – that’s our Astro!
