This is our Autumn girl who is 5 years old. She was turned into a rural Alabama shelter and was facing imminent death until a kind soul found her and brought her to us. Autumn is a sweet, happy girl who has a mild case of heartworms and needs to go through her heartworm treatment before she can be adopted. Autumn thanks Christie and Mona Rose for sponsoring her and helping to make her heartworms nothing but a distant memory. We have also learned that Autumn was previously hit by a car and had a surgery to repair her injury. She will always have a limp and she has found the perfect family to understand just how she feels. Autumn recently adopted a new mom and dad and her new home is full of Goldens, 3 to be exact. And concidentally, each of her new siblings have their own orthopedic problems – so Autumn just feels like one of the gang. Mom and Dad both work but have a housekeeper that will be around to rub and play with them. And her new home is “made for dogs” with lots of comfy places to rest and even more room to romp and play. Autumn is most certainly in a wonderful home, with lots of love and a family who is committed to their dogs. Autumn’s future is sure to be golden.
