Meet Bailey, a wonderful 8 year old purebred male golden. Bailey has lived with the same family since he was 6 weeks old. Now, however, Mom and Dad have a 15 mo old and a 2 week old baby and they are a bit overwhelmed and have decided that Bailey can’t be a priority for them. They have asked us to find him a wonderful home which shouldn’t be very hard because he is a super dog. He is trained and knows all his basic commands and is an easy going guy. He is wonderful with the little ones — usually ignoring them but always gentle. He is fine with cats and is used to being the family dog. He is also used to staying alone and is not destructive. He does have some food allergies and he needs some work walking on a leash (right now he is a puller but this is easily corrected with some training). Bailey is the perfect dog for a young family looking for their first dog. He is a little confused right now and is pretty unsettled being gone from the only family he has known. He just wants to touched all the time right now and doesn’t let you out of his sight… he is just scared he will be abandoned. We know he will settle in and be a wonderful addition to your family but it may take a week or two to get him comfortable. NOTE: his foster family can’t part with him. Bailey has been adopted. He wormed his way right into his foster family’s heart. Recently, they lost their golden Bassinger. Feeling that their 13 year old golden, Chance needed a companion they adopted Sadie. They agreed to foster Bailey for a few days that turned into a few weeks but they had no intention of adopting him. However, Sadie had other plans. She immediately feel in love with him, they started sleeping together the very first night. Finally with Bailey getting all of Sadie’s attention Chance could get a little peace and quiet. Dad wasn’t sure about having 3 dogs until he saw how much Sadie and Bailey loved each other. Now, his big decision is who gets the passenger seat in his convertible. Mom adores them all and loves coming home to three smiling faces at the window.
