Bailey, a wonderful 4 year old male golden, came into the program a bit tattered and bruised. His former owner was a soldier who gave Bailey to a friend but that friend’s dogs beat Bailey up and Bailey isn’t a good fighter. He had bite wounds all over his body! Thankfully, his friend took Bailey to a shelter who called us. Once we got Bailey to the vet, we realized how beat up and bitten he was. The vet had to shave him to find all the wounds. But Bailey healed quickly and never lost his charm. Clearly, he is a lover not a fighter and poor Bailey needed some love in return. Well, we were happy to find Bailey all the affection a dog could ask for. Bailey now has a big new family with three little girls to watch over and a special brother who comes to visit. Bailey’s new mom stays at home and his dad is happy to have such a good boy taking care of his girls. As the one and only family dog Bailey is finally getting all the love and attention he deserves (not to mention a big fenced in yard to play the hours away).
