I am 4 and I used to live at a place where I had to stay outside on a chain all the time after a busy road was built by my house. Before that I just roamed around and slept in a dog house an wondered why anyone would have a dog that lived like that–that wasn’t allowed to be part of the family. Made no sense to me at all. I got heartworms living like that because I never got the medicine to keep it from happening. I don’t understand that either. While I was getting better an AGA helper invited me to stay at her house and that’s where I met her mom and dad who decided to adopt me. What a break huh? I have a dog sister too who used to be an AGA orphan just like me and two cats. I don’t know where they came from- but no problem- we’re all getting along just fine. I feel like the luckiest dog of all! and hope all people who have dogs don’t make them live like I used to live. It’s boring and sad and no kind of life at all. Your friend, Bama (now Ozzie)
