We’re that 6 year old XXL pair that has been at AGA for a while looking for a home. My brother Bama had heartworms and two golden angels, Sandy and Caymus McQuaid sent a message to her mom and dad to please help Bama and they did! After he got better we started looking for a new home but sometimes not so many people want 2 dogs but AGA said, no, these two stay together. That really kept us from worrying while we waited. We met lots of people who wanted one dog but sometimes people change their minds. Along came our new mom and we picked her out right away only she didn’t know it yet but then she changed her mind.. She even had a sister for us who let us borrow one of her toys. We knew that was going to be a really nice sister. But just when we thought we were going to live with them we heard that AGA said, “no” because they didn’t have a fence. They have a lot of places to run but no fence and that was not the best idea for us- we might get lost. Well, we got kind of sad and discouraged but then our foster mom told us our “real” mom-to-be was going to fix everything and get us a fence. Sure enough, when we got to our new home- there it was -a fence that was all ours. It’s just the best present ever. And know what else, we have a really small dog to play with – it’s called Cheewawa or something like that. We’ve never seen one before . Kind of a funny name for a dog. Now we can be together and we’ll never have to worry anymore. Love from Zoe and Bama too.
