Barrett, a 5 year old purebred female golden, was found wandering around in middle Georgia. Barrett must have been lonely because once she was with her foster family she became a big love sponge. She was very food motivated meaning Barrett was a tad overweight and counter surfed, but her foster mom worked on that. A real ‘pet me, pet me’ kind of dog we knew Barrett needed a loving family and another dog to get him running around. Well we found Barrett the perfect pal, Buddy, a 5 year old golden who was adopted from AGA months before. Buddy’s mom and dad were looking for another dog and when they all met Barrett it was love at first sight. Mom and dad are both retired so these golden get all the love and attention they could ask for, not to mention all the food. Another hungry guy, Buddy had put on some pounds after he was adopted. Now Barrett and Buddy keep each other in shape by swimming at the family lake house and chasing after balls. We’re happy to say there will be no more lonely days for this girl. Another match made in doggie heaven!
