Baxley is a 2 year old female golden who was turned into a shelter up in North Georgia. She is a real sweet girl and was very nervous in the shelter but as soon as we took her out of there, she was just fine. Baxley is a sweetheart who loves attention but needs some basic training. Luckily, we found Baxley a forever home where she will receive both training and attention, not to mention a lot of love. Baxley has been adopted by a great retired couple who drove all the way from Salem, South Carolina to find their perfect golden. Dad likes to train dogs and was immediately drawn to Bax. He and Baxley are already great pals but dad is making his girl work. He has Baxley on a ten week obedience training program and she has already learned lots of new tricks. Baxley now lives on a lake and last we heard dad was a little disappointed that Baxley was still not swimming, but we think that will come in week 3 or 4. Not to worry, mom and dad are still so proud of their girl and Baxley knows she found a family that will never ever let her go.
