My name is Bean, and I’m a 3-year-old golden girl weighing about 48 pounds. I’m a sweet, smart girl who is ready for a family who has plenty of time to love me.
I came to AGA because my family was gone for too many hours, and I wasn’t getting the companionship and attention I so desperately wanted. I’m happiest when I’m with my people, so I’m looking for a home where someone works from home or is home most of the day.
I’m a polite (but silly) girl who knows how to sit and patiently wait for my meals. I’m also good with dogs, cats, and kids! But I would do best in a home without small kids, as I prefer a calmer home environment. I don’t bark much, so I could even be happy in a townhome or apartment. I enjoy leisurely walks and would love a family who likes getting out for regular strolls.
I’m still working on my house-training. I do great when my foster family takes me out regularly, but I’m learning how to let them know when I need to go outside. I’m also a big fan of socks… sometimes a little too big of a fan — so my forever family will need to keep them safely out of reach.
I’m a smart girl who is eager to learn, and I’m looking for a family who will give me the time, attention, and love I’ve been missing. I’d also love a family who is comfortable letting me sleep in bed, because being close to my people is my favorite place to be! With love and cozy cuddles, Bean
