Bella is a purebred female golden retriever who is 2 years old. We received a call from a woman who said her golden retriever (Bella) was recently spayed and a little tender. Her children had been messing around with her and Bella snapped at one of the kids. By the time we returned the call which was within the hour her husband had already taken Bella to the Animal Shelter at his wife’s insistence. They then asked us to try to save her at the shelter. We worked with the shelter over the course of 10 days and we evaluated her. She is your typical lovebug – she gets real excited when someone pays attention to her and acts like a puppy (high energy and she jumps up). Now she has a loving new family who are also previous AGA adopters – they adopted our sweet Clyde last year. Clyde is now Bella’s big brother, and she also has a 12 year old Lab sister named Aphrodite. When his new family, at the request of their oldest son, met Bella at adoption day it was love at first sight and Bella went home just a few days later. Initially Clyde wasn’t quite sure, but now he has decided (like us) that she is great fun and the two are playing together non-stop. Just another Cinder-Bella dream come true…
