When I first got here I wasn’t looking or feeling my best and I certainly was pretty scared! I used to live in a home for all of my 7 years and then my owner died and everyone forgot about me out in the yard. Everyone except my neighbor who helped me get to a shelter and then they called AGA. That was a long trip to Atlanta because my other home was in New Orleans. I was confused about all the changes. But, you know what? It was all good stuff that was happening- I know that now. One big thing was that the Battle family paid for my medicine to get rid of the heartworms I had and they did that in honor of their golden, Misty. I felt so privileged to know they thought I was the one they wanted to help. All of these good things just kept leading me right to my new family. Now I have a new family who has promised to take care of me so I’m always at my best from now on. And I have two kids, a boy and a girl who will play with me so I can have fun and exercise at the same time. They said they will brush me and help me pick out toys at the store too. What more could I ask? If I had one more wish I’d wish that every AGA orphan would find a home as perfect as mine- that’s what I’d do! Love to everyone, Bella
