Belle is a sweet 7 year old female golden whose owners in Alabama gave her up because they couldn’t or wouldn’t care for her any longer. We are glad they did. She was a mess when we got her – her coat didn’t look like it had ever been brushed. She was a bit overweight but once she gets the chance to chase a tennis ball or two Belle will be fit in no time. Luckily Belle will be getting plenty of exercise in her new forever home. Belle was adopted by a wonderful retired couple from Jacksonville, AL. They had recently lost their previous dog to old age and had so much love to give and time to share. When they came to adoption mom and dad had two dogs in mind but once Belle looked them in the eye everyone knew she was meant to be theirs. Belle jumped right into the backseat of mom and dad’s car clearly ready to begin her exciting new life. Last we heard Belle is having a ball in Alabama and everyone agrees she’s going to stay forever.
