Bentley, a 6 year old male purebred golden, came to us after his family simply dropped him off at a shelter. Bentley was a sweet dog and totally trained, but he was what we would call obese. Today Bentley has a new mom and dad and has already lost 6 pounds. Bentley’s new mom and dad had lost their golden retriever and were looking to adopt a dog that would be good with their grandchildren. They originally wanted a young dog but once they met Bentley, and Bentley met the grandkids, everyone knew Bentley was their boy. Now Bentley helps mom in the garden and sunbaths by the pool. He loves to play in the yard with the three grandkids and they adore him. With all this new fun, love, and attention Bentley will be fit and trim in no time.
