Meet Miss Bertie – or her official AKC Takyq Tyme Berthy – DOB Oct 11, 2003 (9 years old). She is a large, gentle easy going female, housebroken and good in house and sister to Annie and Shortcake. Bertie is a wonderful senior girl who came from a breeder who was retiring. She loved all her dogs and took very good care of them. All of the older girls had been spayed when they retired from breeding years ago. These dogs were her favorites and she had a very hard time parting with them but she wanted each one to spend their senior years in the comfort of a home being spoiled with their own bed, toys and plenty of daily hugs and kisses! Well, thanks to her new mom’s more dreams and wishes are being fulfilled. Mom and mom are sisters and also previous AGA adopters. Sadly, they recently lost their Buddy. Home didn’t seems like home without the pitter patter of golden feet so they came back to AGA looking for another golden. Bertie was the perfect fit! When they met everyone loved her. Now Bertie will truly be part of a family, she will get to go to work some days with one mom or mom will come home to visit during lunch. She will also have 2 cats to hang out with, a fenced yard and a warm cozy bed at night. In fact, they are already planning some fun things to do with Bertie – maybe even walk with her in the St Patrick’s Day Parade. We’re sure Bertie will steal the show!
