Bixby, a 4 year old black and white golden retriever, – well, not really but let’s pretend. This golden wannabe was the right size and had the right temperment and personality. If we had just dyed his hair, he would have passed as a golden. He was with Bronson in the shelter where his owner left him, only hours from death. We came to get Bronson and just couldn’t leave this guy. So, we had to find a family who wanted this very valuable one-of-a kind black & white golden and his brother Bronson. That was a tall order but we found the perfect family. They had always had two dogs and theirs had passed away. It was time to have new furballs in their lives. So Bixby has a new Mom and Dad and a new teenaged boy and good old Bronson. Life couldn’t be better.
