Blakely is a female golden retriever who is approximately 3-4 years old. She was picked up as a stray from a shelter in Alabama, with her little buddy Caroline. She came to us with bad ear and skin infections, needing to be spayed but with plenty of star power (as her fetching, ready-for-a-belly-rub profile picture is displayed!). She was briefly adopted but one of the kids in the family is sick and because there was no guarantee that Blakely’s skin infections would not flare up again, everyone thought it would be best to overly safe for the sake of the little boy. So we had to find a new home for Blakely (and a new dog for the little boy)! Now Blakely’s ever after is coming true! She now has a new mom and dad, who are home a lot and a 10 year old spaniel mix for her only sibling. Both mom and dad are experienced Golden parents having loved two Goldens previously. Blakely’s new life is finally sure to be golden!
