It is with great sadness that this wonderful boy who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This fellow was blind but you would never know it. He would follow you around by the sound of your voice and he adapted to his enviroment very quickly. He was found standing in the middle of a street with no identification. Some kind hearted people got him in their car and took care of him, looking for Missing Dog posters. They called us when no one was looking for this dog. We named him Blind Bruce and got him cleaned up and found out he had a severe case of heartworms and was hypothryroid. We got him on some medication but he was too thin to give him heartworm treatment. So we found him a wonderful foster family to put some weight on him and to love on him. He had only been in foster care for a few days but he was safe, warm and very comfortable. Most important, he was loved on by a wonderful family. He had two boys who talked to him and petted him and gave him kisses. Blind Bruce died in his sleep on Christmas Night.
