Meet Blizzard, a wonderful 6 year old male Great Pyrenees. His owner decided to turn him in because he barked when outside and neighbors complained. (That is what GP’s do when left alone outside – they guard and protect their home. The trick was not to leave them outside alone. No dogs liked to be left outside without their humans.) Blizzard was a great dog…all 122 pounds of him. Unfortunately, he had been shaved so you didn’t see how absolutely gorgeous he was. He went in foster care and here was how his foster family described him: affectionate, sweet, good with other dogs, not pushy, good manners, housetrained, laid back, BIG 122lbs and needed a fence. Also, he was great with kids and used to sleep with a young girl. Blizzard found his forever home with a fabulous family. He now has a doting father and mother, a 4 year old brother, 3 cats, and a neighborhood horse! Although he will be missed by his foster he is adjusting great and they just love his personality. Bravo Blizzard!
