Blossom, a 6 year purebred female golden retriever, had lived outside all of her life. She was allowed in the garage when the weather was bad. Blossom never had a toy and when she got her first one she didn’t know what to do with it. Blossom was in our program for a very long time. She would go to adoption day and just mope. Everyone passed her by because she was too calm. She wouldn’t let anyone see her personality – except her foster family. They saw her with her toy and they saw her play with their dog Casper. They saw how she loved the kids. They learned how much they loved her when she was adopted. They really missed her and apparently Blossom missed them. She didn’t behave and soon was back home with her foster family. Was it fate? Nope, we think it was just plain love.
