Meet Bozeman from Houston, Texas. He was given to us and assisted by many special organizations. Bozeman was a product of Hurricane Katrina and ended up with Golden Beginnings in Houston, Texas. They called on us to help find Bozeman a home, since he had been with them for quite some time and they had not been able to find the right family. We were more than willing to help, but we had to figure out a way to get him from Houston to Atlanta. We could not fly him on a commercial flight because the extreme heat, so our dear friends at Pilots and Paws Program stepped up to the plate. When Bozeman “touched down” he had quite a long stay at our other friends at US Canine. He seemed to have a bad case of thunder phobia and a real distaste for other dogs. After months with our trainer and her son he became a new dog. And in turn got a new family. Bozeman will now have a dad, an 8 yr old human brother to play with and a fence to romp around in. His new dad is excited to take Bozeman on long runs, pal around in the yard and who knows, they might even take a flight together! I am sure Bozeman can now show him the “flying” ropes.
