Meet Brady, a young male golden male about 2 years old. He was in a shelter in North Carolina. When we first picked him up he was confused and cautious. At his vet exam a lump was found on his chest. They took an x-ray and learned that Brady had been shot! Buckshot was found. It was removed during his neuter. What is so sad is we don’t really know what this poor dog has been through. No wonder he was cautious around people. But as a testament to this wonderful breed, there is not a mean bone in Brady’s body. He has the the great temperment of a golden and has found the perfect family to show him what love is all about. Mom stays home and dad works just a few miles away. They have a nice home in a quiet neighborhood with a great backyard that belongs to Brady. Also, he now has 3 grown human siblings who are all animal lovers. In fact, his human sister is at UGA studying to become a veternarian! And she has a golden that we know Brady will become fast friends with. It’s sad to think of what Brady has endured in his young life, but it’s great to know that with a terrific family like this he will never know heartache again.
