Know what? I was a birthday present for my new dad. How about that! I didn’t have to get in a box and get tied up with a bow but I was all ready to dig into that birthday cake! I’m that big boy who is only 5 but was feeling like I’d never get a place to settle after trying out two homes. It’s not like they didn’t take good care of me but neither had time for me and I was lonesome. My new family has plenty of time for me and I like that arrangement. Goldens do not like to be left alone- oh no, we like attention and plenty of company. It’s just the way we are put together, I guess. My new mom says I’m everything a perfect golden could be!
