I was staying in a shelter when I heard I was on the “list”. Every homeless dog knows what that means and you know what? Even though it made me sad I really thought it wouldn’t matter because I didn’t feel well. I can’t see as well as I used to and I have sore ears and can’t hear much. I have arthritis pain and I might need an operation. It was just too much to keep on living anyway. Then I heard the kind shelter people wanted to find some help for me and they found AGA. Could I hope for help? I was afraid to, but here I am being looked after by the AGA doctors and they are helping me in all the ways they can. They found out I have heartworms on top of everything else. I needed an angel person to help AGA and me to pay for all of my medicine and I am “barkless” to hear I didn’t get one sponsor – I got three!! They are John Pendergast, Peggy and Elvis Sheehan and Laila Lalani. I think that is some kind of a sponsor record! When they came flying in there was hardly room for their very, very big wings. What a sight that was! Never have I felt so special! Never! I am already getting medicine for my ears and for my arthritis and plenty of rest and good food. It may take a little while until I am better, but I’m feeling much more hopeful, something I have not felt for a long time. They are guessing I am about 10 but I’ve had a rough life and it’s hard to know for sure. I know senior dogs need special adopters who love us older ones and maybe, just maybe, one is out there waiting for me. Please help me have another miracle – a home all my own and people who will love me. Love you very much and thank you AGA and my angels – Bree
