Although she’s no Golden Retriever we had to save Bridget, a 2 year old purebred Great Pyrenees. Bridget was seized by animal control in a drug raid and had recently had pups. She was underweight by about 20 pounds. She was extremely gentle, good with children, and liked other dogs. As a breed Great Pyrenees are protectors. It was clear to us that all Bridget needed to bulk up was a caring family to love and protect. And it take Bridget very long to find her new family. She charmed them by batting those eyes at adoption day. Bridget has a new Mom (she’s a nurse so Bridget liked that) and a new Dad (he’s retired military (we liked that cause Bridget can have a mind of her own) and 3 kids to raise (Bridget loved that). Oh, we can’t forget about Jade and Patcher, the family cats (we think Bridget even likes them).
