Brody is a young male golden mix who is about 1 year old. He is very camera shy so this is not the best photo of him. He came from Alabama where he was in danger. He was living in an apartment complex where some mean teenagers were picking on him and threatening his owner. Brody is not a fighter and those people would encourage a nasty dog to attack Brody. Brody’s ear got torn up and his owner believed Brody would certainly meet a worse fate. So AGA was asked to step in and help. Initially we discovered he had heartworms but thanks to Jan Black and Terry R. for helping us with his treatment those little devils are gone. Now Brody is happy, healthy and in his new home. He was adopted by his foster! Brody first came to AGA in December 2009 and after a few different foster homes he finally landed in the right one. He was also adopted once but it didn’t work out. After a little help from our trainer at Jabula we were able to determine what Brody needed and after just a few hours at his new foster home, he convinced dad that he was home. Now Brody and dad are quite the pair and Brody is finally getting everything he needs!
