Bucaneer, a one year old purebred male golden, had an owner who took him to the shelter and said “take him”. The shelter called us immediately. Bucaneer is a great dog and is extremely friendly but he is a bit excitable. In other words, no one took the time to train him and he was all over everything. The only time he calmed down was when he got to ride in a car. Bucaneer went to training boot camp and as a result of that and his foster dad who continued working with him, Bucaneer is fabulous. And, we found him a fabulous forever home. A family who has had always had goldens found themselves goldenless and then found us and then found Bucaneer. It was a match! Buc has a Mom and Dad and two teenagers so he is rarely left alone. They are an active family and are so right for Bucaneer. This is a testament to what training and love will do. You will get a great dog that is devoted to you for life.
