Buddy 4, a four year old male golden, was turned in by his owner who just didn’t have time for him. Buddy is a big dog, tipping the scales at over 100 pounds, but a super chilled out dog. He was kept outside most of his life and when we brought him in we learned he had heartworms. We helped nurse Buddy back to health and then found him a wonderful forever family. Buddy was adopted by a loving couple who had recently lost a golden to cancer. Mom and dad are true dog lovers. They have another 10 year old golden, Maddy, but life wasn’t the same with out two big dogs running around. Once mom, dad, and Maddy met Buddy they knew they’d have to make him part of the clan. Buddy is so happy to have found a home with so much golden love to give. Plus, after being alone outside for so many years, Buddy can’t seem to get enough play time. Buddy’s new grandparents also have goldens and when mom and dad go out of town the dogs will get to have one big sleep over. It looks like its going to be a golden future for this big guy!
