Buddy is a 5 year old purebred male golden retriever who was surrendered to us when his former owner had to move out of state for work and could not give Buddy the time he deserved. Well, Buddy was sad but now he is happy again because he has a merry new family complete with Mom, Dad and three boys aged 10, 16 and 19. Mom stays at home so Buddy’s days of being left alone are behind him. They are also a UGA family so Buddy is hoping for a UGA collar for Christmas. He has a big fenced backyard and will get to play with the neighborhood dogs. His new family lost their golden to cancer last year and missed the golden hair. Buddy will heal their hearts and have a blast with the boys. In fact, while the adoption was being completed, Buddy wouldn’t leave one of the boy’s side – leaning in on him and not budging. When last seen, Buddy was on his way to Petsmart for a shopping. He’s so happy to be home for the holidays!
