Buffy is a 7 year old female golden who was abandoned by her owners. She had lived with her family all her life in the backyard in an igloo dog house. What is remarkable about her story is she did not have a fence to keep her in and she never left. Her family left and didn’t take her. She had two children too. That is so heartbreaking to hear but worse for Buffy is the fact that she was covered in ticks…. so many that our vet said they had never seen so many and had to shave her. Her coat has grown back and is now soft and beautiful! She is so happy in her foster home where she’s learned what love is all about. No more igloo dog houses — only comfy beds. Though Buffy has arthritis, she enjoys strolling through the woods and going on short walks. She gets along with other dogs and just needs a quiet home where she’ll get plenty of tummy rubs. Buffy has finally found the perfect home – her foster home. Mom and Dad are great and certainly devoted to their dogs, all four of them. Buffy has 2 golden sisters, Lindsey and Brandy and a golden brother named Charlie. Lindsey and Buffy have been great friends since the beginning, always hanging around together. And the ladies just love to hang out and watch Charlie play ball. Buffy is now not only beautiful she is finally happy and certainly perfectly at home with her family!
