I am a 5 year old purebred Golden Retriever and my life has not been the greatest. I sure could use some help. I have never been taken to the vet for that thing called “neuter” and have been tied up in the backyard. It has been so frustrating for me to see other dogs that were free or ones that would try to come into my yard. I only had that little space and my chew bone and I had to protect what was mine. My family had a very complicated life and couldn’t do for me all that needed to be done. I came to them when I was a puppy but things have gotten worse in the last couple of years. I only had my yard, a garage to sleep in and no one to teach me the things I didn’t know. I did something one day that I didn’t mean to do. I nipped my owner when he went to pick up my chew bone. All I could think of was that was MY bone- leave it alone!Then it seems the more unhappy I got, the more I was left atone. Now AGA is trying to help me by putting me in a training program. It may take a while but I hope it works.
