Meet Butterfinger, one of the 8 Candy Bar puppies. His litter was brought in to a shelter in Alabama. Mom was a purebred golden. We think there were two dads – one golden and one poodle since half the litter looks golden and half look like golden doodles. Butter looks golden to us. He is also a cry baby – a bit clingy and needy and has definitely discovered his feminine side. He think it’s going to be the case, but we are waiting on reports to hear that he is indeed a Mama’s Boy. Mom mostly stays at home, but she is also a partner in a law firm, while dad is a doctor. There’s no doubt that this boy is going to grow up smart and well cared for with this family. He also has 2 human brother and a human sister to help raise him and also to keep him busy. Just recently, this family lost their 14 year old golden boy Hurley to cancer. We think that Hurley is up in big doggie heaven and had a little to do with sending Butter their way. While, he won’t replace Hurley, he will certainly carve his own place in their human hearts and make home feel somewhat like home again. In addition, knowing that his people are once again enjoying the joys of golden love makes Hurley happy too!
