Miss Butterscotch, a 3-4 year old female golden was found as a stray (with Hershey, the lab puppy following her). She was very skittish when we brought her in but clearly a sweet girl. With the love and care of her fosters Butterscotch came out of her shell and now she has a forever family to call her own. Butterscotch was adopted by a wonderful mom and dad who recently lost their beloved 18 year old dog. They have another dog, a 6 year old Westie, Max. Max took it really hard when his old friend passed. He missed having another dog to pal around with and everyone in the family agreed, the house was not the same with only one dog running around. Max is pretty picky when it comes to other dogs but he and Butterscotch hit it off and Max invited her to stay. This was great news to Butter, she loves her new life. She now has two kids, Patrick and Elizabeth, to care for and a mom who works from home so she is always around for belly rubs and love. Butterscotch never knew things could be this good but now she will know forever!
