This is Caret, a 2 year old female golden retriever who was in an Alabama shelter. She was found as a stray and was set for adoption at the shelter when her adoption fell through. She was scheduled to be put down the next day but thanks to one of our Alabama volunteers we were able to help. Now she is all smiles and wiggles in her new home. Carat will have two wonderful parents who both work but come home at lunch time. Mom is taking half of the summer off to be with her son and now Carat. Their son is also very excited to have a dog of his own to play ball with. When they arrived at the fosters they were fully prepared with dog food, treats, and new toys not even knowing if things would work out. Well, everyone is happy that things did and now all that new stuff belongs to Carat. However, her favorite new “stuff” is the people who love her!
