Yes, I am the last dog rescued from China by AGA. Adoption didn’t come easily because they called me a special needs dog. I cried when anyone touched my paws and I could not walk up the stairs. I don’t know why but it made a lot of people who liked me turn away and adopt other dogs. I had a lot of fosters too so I knew I wouldn’t be staying long with any one of them. I can’t say why I was “special” but now I have my very own family and that includes three other dogs! Our mom stays home and I have my own couch where I rest and help dad work. I think there must be a lot of “special” dogs in China because it is not a happy life for any of us. I (and lots of people here) wish every day that the people who won’t let China dogs come to the U.S. would change their minds and open the doors again. We are sad and lonely and hurting. I almost didn’t make it and I am wishing all the other dogs could know what it is like to find new lives. Hugs from Cardi
