Carmen, a 2.5 year old small female golden, was given up by her family due to a child’s asthma. A smart and savvy girl, Carmen came to us housetrained and incredibly obedient. She was even bilingual and could understand her commands in Dutch and English. We knew we’d found a special girl in Carmen so when Savannah, a 6.5 year old golden retriever, came looking for a sister we were sure we had the perfect match. The very day Savannah and her mom, who used to be an AGA foster, met Carmen they knew they had to have her. Now these girls are one happy family and Carmen loves having a sister. Carmen and Savannah get go on hikes together by the river and sunbath by the pool. It’s a slumber party every night. Life is looking pretty good for these golden girls.
