Meet Ms Caroline, an adorable young female golden retriever mix who is estimated to be about 18 months to 2 years old. This petite little girl weighs only about 35 pounds and was picked up as a stray in Alabama. Well, fortunately for her new family Caroline is a stray no more! Her new mom and dad have observed us for quite a while, as their daughter is one of our volunteers. They have also met many of the dogs she has fostered. Caroline’s new dad is a former professor who is trained as a behaviorist. While his specialty is human behavior, much of his training will carry over in helping Caroline get settled into her new home. This sweet lovebug also has a new sibling named Otter, a terrier mix, who is well trained and incredibly smart. He will plans to be a role model and help teach Caroline the ropes of family life. Dad travels some, but works from home when not traveling and mom is a teacher, so Caroline will have little time at home alone. This golden (mix) girl is going to have a special life!
