My name is Casamigos, but you can call me Casa! I’m a 2-year-old golden boy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and lots of love to give.
I was being cared for at the shelter while my owner went through a difficult life change. When I was cleared for rescue, AGA stepped in to give me the fresh start I needed.
When I arrived, I wasn’t in the best condition. I was dirty, covered in mats, and my nails were very overgrown. But none of that stopped me from being the absolute sweetest, most loving boy. I was just so happy to be safe and surrounded by people who cared about me.
I truly don’t think I’ve ever met a stranger! I love everyone I meet, and I am good with other dogs. I love playing with my AGA alum foster brother.
I’m a smaller-sized Golden, currently underweight at 32 pounds, but I’m eating well and working on getting healthy and strong. I am very puppy-like! I’m a total velcro boy who follows my people everywhere. I’m also a big fan of toys — I always love to have one in my mouth!
I’m looking for an active, experienced family with someone home most of the day. I would be great with older kids, but I may be too spirited for a home with young kids.
I will need some continued training to perfect my house manners as I settle into my new life. I’m mostly potty-trained but still learning to signal when I need to go out. I do well in my crate and settle quickly, but I’ll need to be crated when left alone. I’m a super sweet boy who is eager to please and ready to learn.
I’d love a family ready for my goofy puppy energy and will help me be the best boy ever. I’m ready to leave my past behind and start the next chapter of my life with a family who will love me as much as I already love everyone I meet! With belly rubs and happy tail wags, Casa
