Atlanta will always be my first American “home” but my real home is now in S. Carolina. I’m the most famous dog in my neighborhood because I came from Turkey and everyone wants to meet me. It’s like being a movie star! I’m also practicing being spoiled because my new mom and dad think nothing is too good for me! I get to lick out the ice cream carton (there is always some left in it for me) and I have a yard that is for running like the wind. I can do “wheelies” around and around and kick up the dirt. I have also discovered digging holes is the most fun- only mom says, “No digging, Casper”! Sometimes I have playtime with my grand kids and when I see them coming I get all excited! They are so much fun! I have lots of toys in all the rooms and I don’t even have to pick them up unless I go work in mom’s office- then I take some with me (in case Mom wants to stop and play) . Mom and Dad mostly stay home with me but if I ever have to stay alone for a little while, I just find a good spot and snooze until they come back. They are so proud that I never do anything bad when I’m left alone. My new mom and dad said good-bye to their golden not too long ago because it was sick. I know I can never take it’s place but I can be another special friend to them and make them smile and you can be sure when they are passing out the hugs I’ll be right there! When I first came to America, The Bireley Family Foundation sponsored me through the kindness of Aimee and Roger Bireley. Sponsors help sad, sick and lonely dogs come to America that otherwise would not be able to buy a plane ticket or pay for their doctor bills. Being a sponsor is a very generous thing to do! Thanks to everyone for giving me a life I never knew could happen. Your pal, Casper
