Chanel Mill is a 4-5 year old purebred female golden who was part of what we call our Designer Dog Rescue from two Missouri puppy mills. She had been used as a breeder dog. All these dogs were in jeopardy if we didn’t get them out before Memorial Day. Thanks to one of our volunteers they are all safe and sound. And thanks to mom and dad Chanel has a new home of her very own! Mom and dad came to us solely interested in Chanel. She came to us in May and was the shyest and most timid of the mill dogs, but that did not phase mom and dad at all. They are both retired and plan to take as much time as needed making sure Chanel knows that she is loved, safe and right at home! It also seems that their little dog Ginger knows that Chanel needs a some extra love – she’s keeps giving Chanel kisses as if she’s trying to kiss her fears away. With all the love mom, dad and Ginger have to offer this sweet girl will come out of her shell in no time and enjoy all to the spoils of being a much loved family pet!
