Chapin is a 5 – 6 year old male golden retriever. He was picked up as a stray and the shelter was sure his owners would come looking for this great boy. A volunteer at the shelter who spent some time with him reported he was already neutered and a great boy, but sadly no one came for him – so we did! Now Chapin is living the good life. He LOVES to play ball, he sits, stays, down and waits for you to toss ball and is wooing his new family in even tighter with his good manners and boundless charm. The big, red , handsome guy found his home with a wonderful lady and will he be her constant companion. Mom is retired so Champ will have her all to himself – well, except for when family comes to visit. However, he will have some doggy relatives to play with and some kids to play with too. He will even have a vacation home in Ellijay to go to with a river for swimming. Life is certainly looking up and to go with his new life he’s been given a new name – Champ. We certainly think it’s appropriate! Congrats Champ(ion)!
