Charley, a 2 year old male golden, wandered up to a boarding facility over the holidays and never left. We came to the rescue but when we took Charley to the vet, we discovered he had a heart murmur. So we made Charlie an appointment with a cardiologist and got a pretty good report. He was able to get neutered and he has recovered nicely. Better yet Charley won the hearts of a young Irish couple, and now they are his forever family. Charley’s new mom and dad didn’t care about his condition. They promise to give Charley all the extra love and attention he could possibly need. Charley will be the couple’s first baby. Although they both grew up with goldens, Charley is their first dog together. So like any first born, Charley is about to be quite spoiled. Mom even plans to come home at lunch time to eat with Charley and dad has already got a whole bunch of tennis balls ready to go. Charley is one smart boy to have taken himself to the kennel like that, and now he will never spend a holiday alone ever again.
