My baby, Darby, and I came to AGA from a farm that let dogs just breed and have puppies. I was very shy and nervous about being around people. I spent some time in my foster home with my baby and learned that all the time I lived that other life, I was missing the kind of life a golden should have! Thank goodness little Darby will always know what it is to be taken care of and not be afraid of new things the way I was. Sometimes I was sad to think I was only two and had so much responsibility. I wanted to play and run and not worry so much. but I knew my first job was to take care of Darby. Now we both have found new homes and I’ll be learning things just like she is. My new mom and dad are patient and kind to me and they know all about goldens. They are going to take care of me and teach me to be brave. We plan to go on walks and play in our yard. It’s a safe place because there is a fence there. Thank you to AGA and especially to our nice foster family who also made a safe place for me and Darby. Love, Charli P.S. I almost forgot! My best friend Sassy has a new home too!
