You might remember me as Rumba Pup, I was adopted through AGA as a puppy, at just 11 weeks old, but now, at a little over a year, I find myself searching for a new forever home. My family selflessly returned me because they knew they could not give me the time and attention I truly deserved. I am incredibly sweet and such a good boy, I just need the right family to see that! I adore kids, and I have lived with little ones ranging from 2 to 12 years old. I also get along great with other dogs and would love a playmate. I do not know much about cats, but I do not think I have a high prey drive, so I might be just fine with them too! And guess what? I am house-trained (I even ring a bell when I need to go outside!). I still have a few puppy tendencies, like jumping when I get really excited, but can you blame me? Life is fun, and I just want to share my joy with you!
I do have one little quirk (as we all do), I do not like being crated. It makes me really anxious, but I am totally fine being gated in a safe space if needed. Right now, I am feeling a little unsure in my foster home, but I know with time, patience, and love, I will come out of my shell again. What I need most is a family that will make me a priority, include me in their daily lives, and help me feel safe and secure. A busy family will not be the best fit for me, but if you work from home or have the time to be active with me, I will be your most loyal adventure buddy. I promise to love you with my whole heart.
