Chester, a 6 year old golden retriever, came to us from Birmingham, Alabama when he was 3 years old. He was found as a stray but no one came looking for him. A kind soul took him in and tried to find him a home but then he asked us for help. We found him a wonderful family with two small children and a cat Chester loved. All was right in the world until Chester was tormented by the cocker spaniel next door. Chester got a new family and all was right in the world until mom went back to work and left Chester in the backyard all by himself. Chester went back to his foster family who adopted him. That’s 3 homes for Chester. His 3rd family kept him for nearly two years. Chester developed some separation anxiety and thunderphobia and his family may have to move and Chester need stability. So, that brings us to home 4. They are fostering to adopt Chester because this has to be his LAST HOME! Mom and Dad recently lost their golden boy whom they adopted from us and we have hand-picked them for our boy Chester. Dad is retired and Chester will get to stay home with him all day. Chester and the cat are getting along famously so his adoption should happen by the weekend. You go Chester! Seems that you are finally home!
