Chief, a 5 year old flat coated retriever, came to Adopt a Golden Atlanta when his family moved to a new apartment and failed to persuade management that he weighed under 25 pounds. A fun loving and loyal companion, Chief’s love of a good round of fetch, and a knack for dancing on his hind legs made him the perfect pet for a family with young children. A young family with a stay at home Mom and two boys and a Dad with a good throwing arm, were just what Chief was looking for. He is one happy dog and we know he will do a wonderful job raising his new boys.
