Chloe is a precious 11 month old golden retriever. She was surrendered to a Shelter in Alabama by a woman who said Chloe belonged to her daughter and she moved away, left the dog with her parents and they could not take care of her. Our transporter tells us she slept all the way to Atlanta. Poor thing was probably exhausted from sleeping with one eye open while in the shelter — a very stressful place for a young girl who was just abandoned by her “family”, but that’s okay because Chloe has a new family now – just in time for the holidays. Her new family consists of the perfect mom and dad. Mom and dad said that “Dogs are our children to us, human children are no different than dog children”. Just the words we love to hear! Their first child is Bailey, a sweet 4 year old West Highland White Terrier named Napa and now Chloe is their second. Mom just took the bar exam and is soon to be an attorney, while dad in a PhD program and will soon be a doctor. In addition to having the best mom and dad ever, Chloe and Napa will share a huge fenced in backyard – perfect for their daily romps. Chloe will have lots of love and affection in her future and never know the fears of shelter life again. Thanks mom and dad!
