My name is Chloe, and I’m a young 8-year-old golden girl who weighs about 73 pounds. I have a gentle heart and so much love left to give.

I’ve been with my mom since I was just 8 weeks old, so saying goodbye wasn’t easy for either of us. As she’s gotten older and prepares to move, she knew she could no longer give me the care I deserve. Because she loves me so much, she made the difficult decision to let AGA help me find my next forever family.

My foster says I’m the sweetest girl. I’m house-trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and have no problem doing my business while we’re out and about. I absolutely love to snuggle, roll over for belly rubs, and stay close to my people… I’m definitely a velcro girl! My favorite place to cuddle is right on your lap.

Don’t let my age fool you… I’m an active girl who still loves to get out and enjoy life. I’d be happiest with an active family who will include me in their adventures. A home with teens would be wonderful, and I think I’d enjoy having another friendly dog to share life with, too (but not required).

I’m a smart girl, too! I’ve even been known to try opening doors with my nose. The only thing I’m not fond of is thunderstorms, but with my favorite people nearby, I feel much braver.

What I’m hoping for now is a family who will let me be their loyal shadow, keep me active, shower me with belly rubs, and remind me that home is wherever we’re together. With love, Chloe
