Chloe, a 5 year old female golden retriever, was taken to the vet be her previous family who said they didn’t want her anymore and asked that she be put her to sleep. The vet had cared for Chloe all her life and asked if he could take the dog instead. He did not want such a wonderful dog to die so he brought her to AGA knowing we would find Chloe a perfect home, and of course we have! Chloe know has a wonderful new mom and dad who both hold a special place in their hearts for goldens. Chloe’s new parents had recently lost their beloved 14 year old female and when they met Chloe they instantly knew she was the little golden girl for them. Chloe loves her new family. She especially enjoys the lake house and watching all the ducks swim, although she hasn’t yet mustered the nerve to chase after them. Instead, Chloe would rather play in the pool with the grandkids and take in the fabulousness of her second chance at life and her new forever home.
