CJ is a typical 18 month old purebred male golden retriever and a very handsome and playful lad. Unfortunately (but soon to be fortunately) CJ had a tough few months. He was surrendered because his former owner had moved to Louisiana from Florida to take care of an elderly family member. Initially, CJ made the move with her but she soon realized that she did not have the time to devote to CJ’s training with work and tending to her sick family member. He came to us with a love of tennis balls and squeaky toys, a passion for playing with other dogs. knowing his basic commands but looking for an active family who can provide him with lots of exercise. Well, the search is over. His new family has arrived. After a session with our trainer Jennifer Arnold and her associate trainer, Kim, CJ went home. His new family is so excited to have this smart, adorable boy join their family! To celebrate his new beginning some lucky pet store made some big sales as CJ’s starting his new life off being spoiled rotten. Now one parent works from home, so CJ will have someone home with him all day, and the other is a runner and can’t wait to get started with his new running partner. CJ is already adored by his new parents, and they are committed to continuing his training, so no doubt this smart fellow will be a model dog citizen in no time! Here’s to the beginning of another golden fairy tale!
