Hey there, I’m Clark. You could say I’m a guy who knows what he likes in life: a good walk, a sturdy leash, and a human who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. I am a 3.5-year-old boy who weighs about 80 pounds, and I’ve got great house manners. I am housetrained, crate trained, and respectful inside the home. I am not a clingy dog, but I do enjoy being near my person in a calm, steady way. What I am looking for is a foster-to-adopt home where I would have time to adjust to my new structured home life. Then, after, I could be officially all yours!
I would do best in a home with adults only. Ideally, with one person or a quiet couple who’s experienced with strong, independent dogs like me. I’m polite about affection, as I enjoy it in short sessions. I also thrive with structure and clear boundaries. I walk well on a leash (though you’ll need a strong arm!) and I’m non-reactive around others when out and about. I just ask to be the only pet in the home, no cats, no other dogs, and definitely no small kids. A fenced yard would be perfect so I can stretch my legs safely. I will need an experienced owner who can help me grow into the best dog I can be, with patience and clear boundaries.
If you’re someone who appreciates a loyal, smart, steady companion, someone who respects a dog’s need for both independence and connection, we might just be exactly what each other needs. I hope to meet you soon, Clark
